Our Digital Health Technologies (DHT) organization is currently seeking applications for the role of Software Engineer, Identity Management.
The Customer Identity and Access Management team works on cutting edge approaches to enable identity-as-a-service for all our Products and our development platforms.
The team is focused on accelerating modern and robust authentication mechanisms through engineering and streamlining customer identity related functionality. This role will provide software expertise for secure, scalable, and maintainable designs of identity management and user authentication. The team works closely with other engineering teams to integrate their products into a cohesive ecosystem.
Let’s talk about responsibilities:
Contribute to designs and implementations of identity services.
Assist the team to grow the Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) program.
Responsible for developing cutting edge AWS serverless applications.
Review code and provide feedback while ensuring completeness.
Partner with product teams to understand their authentication use cases.
Use technology to improve identity-related workflows (e.g. SSO, federation, password management, etc.).
Have good comprehension of the security domain.
Let’s talk about qualifications and experience:
Having a software engineering mindset is a must, coupled with 3 years of progressive experience building software solutions.
As a candidate you need to be focused on the developer experience and have a product-focused mindset. You will see identity and access management obstacles as puzzles to engineer away into solutions that keep our products secure and compliant, and keep us reinforcing trust in our products.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related software technical degree, or equivalent practical experience.
You have 3+ years of software development experience in a language such as Python, Java, C#.
You have 1+ years recent experience with AWS and solution-engineering experience in that space.
Hands-on experience developing serverless apps, including use of AWS Lambda, CloudFront, CodePipeline, API Gateway, CloudWatch, SQS desirable.
Experience with HTML/CSS/JS.
You have 1+ years recent experience with managing access and identities (Okta experience is a great asset).
Terraform experience is a major plus, but not required.
You might not have an existing security background, but you are a problem-solver and a quick learner. We can train and mentor the security background.
You are a natural communicator.
You have excellent written and oral skills and are able to clearly express ideas, requirements and designs.
