Amy Romaker | Athena Foundation Board Member

Director of Client Service | Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP

Amy oversees the business development efforts of the firm’s client teams, industry teams, and client service on both a local and national level.  She is responsible for expanding relationships with the firm’s largest clients including profitability analysis and client satisfaction as well as the development and implementation of  industry teams to attract new business in key areas.  She also coaches individual lawyers on techniques for developing their practice as well as training associates and staff.

Prior to joining Sheppard Mullin, she held a similar position at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP, where she developed the firm’s client team program.  She also spent 13 years in the trust industry working a various banks including Home Fed, La Jolla Bank & Trust, Security Pacific and North American Trust Company (now City National Bank) as the Director of Client Service & Administration where she was responsible for all aspects of client service, account administration, technology and support services, and marketing support.  She was a member of the senior management team, the board of directors, and was corporate secretary.

Amy has a L.L.M. in Taxation from University of San Diego School of Law, a J.D. from California Western School of Law, and a B.B.A. from University of Wisconsin – Madison. Amy holds board positions in several community and professional activities including Pro Kids/The First Tee of San Diego; San Diego MIT Enterprise Forum; Casa Cornelia Law Center; and is the scholarship chair for Athena Pinnacle Awards Committee.
