Back by popular demand… Athena’s Imposter Syndrome Series examines the neuroscience & psychology behind the syndrome and why it's prevalent among high achievers. Michelle Galloway, Stanford Law Lecturer and Cooley Of Counsel, will provide powerful insights on what’s stopping you from fully embracing your highest potential in the workplace. As a psychological pattern where individuals doubt their skills, talents, or accomplishments, the syndrome feeds a persistent fear of being exposed as fraud. Despite external evidence of competence, those experiencing this phenomenon remain convinced that they are frauds and do not deserve all they have achieved and must work longer and harder than everyone else.
In this provocative session, expect to take away proven strategies to help people & organizations break free from the costly consequences of the imposter syndrome. You will learn to speak up in that meeting; to present that idea; to apply for that role you’re qualified for; to demand that job title and ask for that raise.
