MatrixCare is looking for a Systems Architect responsible for architectural design, development and implementation of our overall enterprise software solutions. This will include researching, identification, selection, testing and all steps related to drive solution delivery. The solution architecture will include integration with the corporate and business architecture and applications and be comprised of multiple advanced, complex technical projects. System integration will be a key focus along with aligning teams to our shared technical direction and partnering with multiple teams to elaborate the solution along with its architecture, interfaces, assumptions and context. The successful candidate will bring a demonstrated track record of success as a change agent as well as critical skills in developing partnerships, modeling behaviors and help drive future innovation of our software solutions.
As our Systems Architect, you will:
Participate in planning, definition, high-level design, proof-of-concepts for the software solution and explore solution alternatives
Enable the Continuous Delivery Pipeline through appropriate design guidelines and investment advocacy
Actively participate in the Continuous Exploration process as part of the Continuous Delivery Pipeline, especially with enabler Epics Define subsystems and their interfaces, allocate responsibilities to subsystems, understand solution deployment, and communicate requirements for interactions with solution context
Work with customers, stakeholders, and suppliers to establish high-level Solution Intent, and the solution intent information models and documentation requirements
Establish critical NFRs at the solution level, participate in the definition of others
Operate within the Economic Framework to validate the economic impact of design decisions
Work with portfolio stakeholders, notably the Enterprise Architect, to develop, analyze, split, and realize the implementation of enabler epics
Participate in Program Increment (PI) Planning and Pre- and Post-PI Planning, System and Solution Demos, and Inspect and Adapt events
Define, explore, and support the implementation of ART and Solution Train Enablers to evolve solution intent, working directly with Agile teams to implement them
Plan and develop the Architectural Runway in support of new business Features and Capabilities
Work with Product and Solution Management to determine the capacity allocation for enablement work
Support technology/engineering aspects of Program and Solution Programs
Provide oversight and foster Built-In Quality and Team and Technical Agility
Work through the entire life-cycle of planning, acquisition and deployment, operation management and maintaining system integrity
Skills and Experience needed for this position:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or information systems
8-10 years of experience in the Software Engineering field
Experience with DevOps, Cloud and related technologies to drive optimization in software solutions
Proven experience developing strategic software architecture plans and modernization of solutions
Extensive experience in software solution creation and development
Solid understanding of information processing fundamentals and best practices
Above-average analytical, conceptual and troubleshooting abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience conducting technology, trends, standards and products research
Solid track record in prioritizing and executing tasks when under extreme pressure
Experience providing guidance and leadership to other software engineers
Proven experience identifying, analyzing and resolving system problems
Good knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws
Ability to mentor and interact with agile teams to foster creativity and support innovation
