PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design and develop diversity solutions (in alignment with the organization’s diversity strategy) and associated metrics that are integrated into existing talent management, hiring, retention, and development processes
Provide expertise, coaching and consulting to grow peer skill development workplace inclusiveness
Lead and track diversity projects across different functions (Engineering, Corporate, Business Units, etc.).
Serve as an advisor on content for inclusion and diversity and messaging to help improve business understanding and awareness
Partner with stakeholders and business leaders to ensure that DEI objectives are being met from both a strategic planning and day to day perspective
Track and draw upon internal and external diversity and inclusion data and insights to implement targeted initiatives that support the business strategy
Utilize data to identify trends, and use insights to build targeted Corporate DEI initiatives and programs
Develop and communicate Qualcomm’s strategic vision as well as the ability to put the plan into operation, ensuring that said strategic vision aligns to Qualcomm’s DEI objectives
Amplify diversity & inclusion initiatives to deliver targeted business results
Provide specific knowledge and serve as a resource for constantly evolving practices on diversity and inclusion across the talent lifecycle
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree and 9+ years of experience in Human Resources or related work experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience working in a technical company or organization.
10+ years of experience in Human Resources or related work experience.
8+ years of diversity and inclusion-related work experience.
2+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Sr. Director level and above).
2+ years in a leadership role with direct reports.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Frequently transports between offices, buildings, and campuses up to ½ mile.
Frequently transports and installs equipment up to 5 lbs.
Performs required tasks at various heights (e.g., standing or sitting)
Monitors and utilizes computers for more than 6 hours a day.
Continuous communication which includes the comprehension of information with colleagues, customers, and vendors both in-person and remotely.
