The Brand team provides strategies, guidance, assets and governance to strengthen the reputation and preference for Qualcomm and Snapdragon brands, globally.
The Sr. Marketing Manager is an important member of the Brand Team who will lead brand strategy, management and governance projects and programs. This candidate will apply expert knowledge of brand principles, best practices, industry and competitor trends, and research to support cohesive, distinctive and coherent branding that has a positive impact to the business. The job includes building alignment around architecture, naming, messaging and visual principals. This person will oversee guideline development, hold trainings, build advocacy and support the governance of the brands. They will also give input into the strategic planning and budgeting processes annually.
This is a highly collaborative position that requires a dynamic and thoughtful person who can work well with a myriad of personalities across the organization, agencies and vendors in a positive and productive way. The ability to facilitate, listen, problem-solve and drive consensus amongst the brand team, peers and management in a fast-paced environment is important to the success of this role. Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills are also critical.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree
8+ years Brand Marketing or relevant work experience
Strong working knowledge of brand building and management disciplines such as creative brief, positioning, messaging, guideline development, training
Ability to find creative solutions to complex problems
Communicates in an efficient, clear, accurate, open, respectful, and inclusive manner
Strong presentation development and delivery skills
Effective collaboration skills with cross functional teams, both technical and non-technical, internal and external organizations.
People management skills
Experience developing marketing plans and budgets
Strong organizational skills with the ability to drive multiple projects forward simultaneously
Enthusiasm for brand building and being part of a strategic and dynamic brand team
Strong abilities in Microsoft Office Suite and basic knowledge of Adobe design software products.
Preferred Qualifications
12+ years Brand Management and/or relevant marketing experience for a technology brand
Masters Degree in Marketing or related field
Agency experience
Knowledge of current technology trends in wireless/semi-conductor space
Proven success in brand platform development and management for technical products
Copywriting and editing skills
