General Summary
The role will be responsible for supporting the service delivery of Qualcomm’s Compensation programs. You will play a pivotal role in the guidance and administration of compensation and rewards to all employees, including salary analysis proposals as well as retention proposals aligned with compensation philosophy. This role will help guide and conduct market pricing on jobs, interpret benchmarking results, and propose the appropriate compensation and maintain internal parity. This role will also assist in the escalation of complex or large total rewards solutions to the HR Communities of Practice This role reports into the Total Rewards lead in the People Solutions and Services team with strong partnership with the Compensation Community of Practice.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Conduct salary analysis, retention analysis, market pricing and market competitive analysis while maintaining internal parity • Responsible for developing and guiding salary analysis such as new hire offers, transfers, and employee specific cases that supports the compensation philosophies • Provide input and interpret benchmarking results to leverage responding to questions on employee salary competitiveness and internal parity • Field employee inquiries, provide coaching/counseling on compensation, and respond to escalated issues • Conduct end to end market benchmarking, including survey submissions to annual and ad-hoc surveys, managing survey data, analyzing survey results, market pricing by role and managing impacts to midpoints to the annual comp cycle • Conduct bi-annual job code audits to ensure that employees are in the correct job codes • Conduct ad-hoc salary analysis as requested by the business • Support the annual benchmarking and job code audits processes and partner with HRCP on results and trends • Assist in the administration and deployment of the recognition programs (ThankQ) through managing the day to day operations and reviewing existing reports. • Partner with Compensation Community of Practice on the execution of any compensation philosophy and program changes • During the Annual Review cycle, ensure employee titles, exemption, overrides and exceptional cases are managed for the appropriate annual rewards for salary increase, bonus and equity
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor's degree and 1+ years of Business, Human Resources, or related work experience OR • Associate's degree and 2+ years of experience in Human Resources or related work experience OR • High school Diploma or equivalent and 4+ years of experience in Human Resources or related work experience PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Human Resources or related field. • 7+ years of experience in Business, Total Rewards, Finance, Human Resources or related field.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Frequently transports between offices, buildings, and campuses up to ½ mile.
Frequently transports and installs equipment up to 5 lbs.
Performs required tasks at various heights (e.g., standing or sitting).
Monitors and utilizes computers and test equipment for more than 6 hours a day.
Continuous communication which includes the comprehension of information with colleagues, customers, and vendors both in person and remotely.

Education:

Work Experiences:
7+ years of Compensation, Human Resources, Finance, or related work experience. with High School Diploma or equivalent.
5+ years of Compensation, Human Resources, Finance, or related work experience. with Associate's degree.
3+ years of Compensation, Human Resources, Finance, or related work experience.

Work Experiences:
1+ years experience working in a large matrixed organization. ,1+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Sr. Director level and above). ,3+ years of utilizing Compensation-related systems/tools (e.g., Advanced Excel, Workday, Tech Industry Surveys, etc.). ,5+ years of Compensation work experience. with Bachelor's degree.
