General Summary
The Web Operations Manager is responsible for defining, documenting, and optimizing key workflows needed to create and update webpages with an offshore team. This individual will work with various marketing teams and other cross-functional stakeholders to deliver finished web projects. The ideal candidate is an expert problem solver and communicator who understands how to delegate work across a team and forEcast project delivery.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Author, publish, and QA web pages on qualcomm.com using the content management system.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues, support web authoring peers in problem solving.
Responsible for specific executing requirements for new product experiences.
Collaborate with XD to ensure designs fit within our templates/components and review pages against current web standards.
Develop and execute processes to improve content quality, maintainability, and usability making sure website and in-product experiences are compliant and accessible.
Vet requirements from marketing strategy, product managers, and other key stakeholders to accurately size projects.
Manage multiple priorities in a deadline-sensitive environment to ensure that all work is completed according to department standards.
Understand site mapping, user pathways, and information architecture, in collaboration with SEO, design and others.
Manage Adobe Workfront workflows for approval and campaign management
Create productivity reports, including burn rate, average ticket completion time
Manage an offshore team, run weekly standups, assign tickets, answer questions that may be blocking assignment completions.
Required Competencies
Proficient or familiar with AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) capabilities
Excellent communication skills, confident with management and able to clearly articulate thoughts and recommendations with attention to detail.
Effective cross-team collaborator with the ability to work across multiple creatives and stakeholders to manage components for web pages.
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of experience in Content Management, Web Marketing and/or Marketing Operations with browser-based application testing and debugging.
BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
Preferred Qualifications
Experience building and using user interfaces and prototypes from wireframes and designs using CMS and HTML.
Knowledge of UX, SEO and other factors that impact web conversions.
Experience and knowledge of Agile software development methodology.
