This position can be for San Diego or remote.
We are looking for a Social Media management expert to join the digital marketing team. This position would lead the operation of Qualcomm’s corporate social media channels, run our employee advocacy program, and manage our email marketing operations. The ideal candidate understands social media trends, best practices for both B2B and B2C brands, and can execute world class social media programs.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the social publishing process, giving final approvals of all posts across social platforms, overseeing all creative assets to ensure they are on brand & align with the social platform best practices
Managing our Social Media Management platform, including account set up and management, user access, reporting, and general usability of the tool
Oversee the community management process, including managing a community manager and the monitoring of brand channels on Reddit, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram
Run the employee advocacy program - managing recruitment, content curation, platform maintenance, and strategic direction
Manage social media reporting and make recommendations based on performance.
Coordinate internally with other social media leads for regions and other business units – working to share content ideas and providing global leadership and guidance on social media best practices
Manage the email marketing program – working with the digital strategy leads to execute email campaigns in conjunction with the technical experts who run the email tool.
Minimum Requirements:
7+ years of social media marketing experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Up to date on the latest social media trends and how to use them in B2B and B2C marketing plans
Experience working with a social media management system - Sprinklr experience a plus – and with managing social communities on Reddit, Facebook, Twitter, & Instagram for a large corporation
Familiarity with email marketing, and tools like Marketo and Basecamp
Preferred Requirements:
Strong organizational abilities and skilled in prioritization and multi-stakeholder communication
Responsive, responsible and be able to use data to advise others and make recommendations
Tech industry experience a big plus
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
