Qualcomm is seeking an experienced editorial writer to create engaging, high-impact content. This writer will support the creative services team by embedding in business units/internal stakeholder content planning groups; developing branded content, articles, and video scripts; and taking on other writing assignments as assigned. Candidates should have a strong and diverse portfolio of impactful copy writing.
Minimum Qualifications:
7+ years marketing writing experience
BA or BS degree in journalism or equivalent editorial writing experience
Newsroom, agency, or similar editorial experience, with proven writing ability across multiple types of content and on deadline
Experience with industry-standard CMS tools
Experience interpreting content analytics, and making recommendations based on those interpretations
Experience with agency/vendor management, brand management and visual ID review
Proven ability to work with internal stakeholders and PR teams to refine article topics, within a fast-moving environment with some uncertainty
Experience researching and writing on technology topics, such as wireless, AI, Virtual/Augmented Reality, IoT, PC
Adept at Microsoft Office applications, including compiling and presenting recommendations in PPT format
Preferred Qualifications:
Writing/editing video scripts
Audio/visual production
Photoshop skills
