General Summary
This Total Rewards role will assist in the management of the Total Rewards systems and applications ensuring an optimized user experience through consistent and efficient administration of employee life cycle practices and reporting interpretation. S/He will continuously review and update current processes and configurations to ensure that best practice methodologies are in place to maximize efficiency and drive employee retention. This position will provide recommendations, implement solutions for special project work, and enhance Qualcomm’s user experience. This role will report into the Digital People Systems Senior Director in the Digital People Systems HR Community of Practice.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work closely with internal stakeholders and the HR IT team to identify business requirements and solutions that drive optimization through process, data, and technology
• Serve as a primary expert for Total Rewards (Compensation, Benefits and Mobility) related transactions, processes and reporting
• Support the design, testing and deployment of new integrations and maintain existing integrations using Workday integration tools
• Leverage analytical tools and contribute to provide strategic advice on using technology to achieve goals
• Assist in the exploration, evaluation, recommendation, design, and configuration of new features, functionalities, and security for all Total Rewards systems used at Qualcomm
• Proactively find inefficiencies in processes, suggest enhancements, and present proposals to leadership
• Provide support to the Total Rewards Team for requests such as enhancements, defects, and new functionality
• Partner with stakeholders (internal/external to HR) to understand new report/data requirements and ensures results meet the business needs within appropriate Total Rewards systems
• Provide support for all Total Rewards systems, including researching, identifying, and resolving complex issues, unexpected results, and process flaws
• Maintain working knowledge / experience with HR terminology, policy, and personnel management
• Document and maintain functional business requirements and process flows
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES: (All competencies below are required upon entry)

• Technical Knowledge - Knowledge of Qualcomm or industry standard HR policies, guidelines, and procedures and expertise of HR specialty areas (e.g., Benefits) to design and implement HR programs and solutions. This includes knowledge of the business, industry, and state and federal law to enable HR programs that add business value.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in Human Resources or related work experience
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
• Advanced Degree or equivalent in Business, Human Resources, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Systems, Humanities, or related field.
• Workday Benefits, Comp or HCM Certified, ideally with a strong background in Workday security/cross-functional architecture and testing strategies.
• 8 years experience in Total Rewards or HRIS related work experience.
• 5+ years experience managing Total Rewards HRIS systems for customers of all sizes.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Frequently transports between offices, buildings, and campuses up to ½ mile.
• Frequently transports and installs equipment up to 5 lbs.
• Performs required tasks at various heights (e.g., standing or sitting)
• Monitors and utilizes computers and test equipment for more than 6 hours a day.
• Continuous communication which includes the comprehension of information with colleagues, customers, and vendors both in person and remotely.
