General Summary
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Applies knowledge of Talent Development principles, processes, tools, and best practices to support, drive, and lead projects that train and develop employees. Develops content and materials for Talent Development's global programming and organizational development initiatives. Collaborates and develops effective working relationships with key individuals across functions and external vendors to accomplish mutual goals.
The responsibilities of this role include: • Works under some supervision. • Provides some supervision/guidance to other members; does not have direct reports. • Decisions are moderate in nature. Errors are detected and corrected with relatively minor financial impact or effect on projects, operations, or customer relationships. May require involvement beyond immediate work group to correct. • Requires verbal and written communication skills to convey information that may be complex to others who may have limited knowledge of the subject in question. Role will require negotiation and influence, cooperation, tact, and diplomacy, etc. • Has a moderate amount of influence over key organizational decisions (e.g., is consulted by senior leadership to make key decisions). • Tasks require multiple steps which must be performed in a specific order; directions or manuals can accurately document the steps necessary to perform the task. • Creativity is needed to draft original documents, imagery, or work products within established guidelines. • Problem solving required, generally in the nature of troubleshooting simple processes or technology. • Incumbent's input will be solicited during strategic planning period.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Learns and applies knowledge of Talent Development and curriculum design principles, processes, tools, and best practices to support, drive, and lead projects focused on training and developing employees with minimal supervision. • Develops content and materials (e.g., tool kits, tip sheets, job aids, timelines, etc.) for Talent Development's global programming and organizational development initiatives with some guidance. • Collaborates with leadership on the direction of Talent Development projects, programs, and initiatives. • Collaborates and develops effective working relationships with partners within and outside team to complete work and accomplish goals. • Coordinates development programs (e.g., leadership development, organizational development, training programs, etc.) with external vendors and/or internal resources. • Leverages data from multiple sources (e.g., analytic tools, surveys, training metrics, needs assessments, observations, supervisors, etc.) to make data-based decisions regarding talent development related topics and projects with some supervision. • Seeks and acquires advanced knowledge of various areas related to Talent Development; shows interest in a specific area of expertise. • Writes clear and detailed technical documentation for projects with minimal supervision.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Frequently transports between offices, buildings, and campuses up to ½ mile.
Frequently transports and installs equipment up to 5 lbs.
Performs required tasks at various heights (e.g., standing or sitting).
Monitors and utilizes computers and test equipment for more than 6 hours a day.
Continuous communication which includes the comprehension of information with colleagues, customers, and vendors both in person and remotely.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Bachelors, See the required degree associated with years of work experience
Work Experiences:
3+ years of Talent Development, Human Resources, or related work experience.
7+ years of Talent Development, Human Resources, or related work experience. with High School Diploma or equivalent.
5+ years of Talent Development, Human Resources, or related work experience. with Associate's degree.
Preferred Qualifications
Education:
Bachelors - Business, Bachelors - Human Resources, Bachelors - Organizational Development, Bachelors - Psychology
Work Experiences:
5+ years of Talent Development-related work experience.
