General Summary
Draft, negotiate and execute complex, high impact supplier agreements in collaboration with Legal, Engineering, Sourcing, Finance and other cross functional areas. Focus areas include: electronic design automation tools/services (EDA), software licensing, licensing of foundry IP, IOT, production devices and service agreements.
Collaborate with sourcing, engineering, and legal to develop contract strategies to protect QuaLcomm business, IP, and leadership positions, and to gain early access to tools, advanced materials, and technologies.
Research, analyze, and present contractual positions (i.e warranty, liability, confidentiality etc.) in collaboration with Finance, Legal, Engineering, Sourcing, etc. Focus on assessment/risk mitigation. Responsible for managing contractual results, through negotiation or other means. Lead and manage contract management systems and related business processes in accordance with business unit requirements and SOX compliance. Drive contract process improvements to support and reduce cycle time and to limit non-value added costs.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Monitors and utilizes computers and test equipment for more than 6 hours a day.
Continuous communication which includes the comprehension of information with colleagues, customers, and vendors both in person and remotely.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Bachelors - Business, Bachelors - Communication, Bachelors - Political Science
Work Experiences:
6+ years contract administration experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Education:
Juris Doctorate degree or international equivalent., Masters - Business, Masters - Communication, Masters - Political Science
Work Experiences:
2+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Director level and above) ,2+ years in a leadership role with or without direct reports (only applies to positions with direct reports). ,8+ years contract administration experience.
Certifications:
Certification in legal, contracts, or related areas. - Any
