This position is for an Executive Assistant for the Legal group in the Qualcomm Technology Licensing (QTL) division of Qualcomm at our facility in San Diego, CA. This position will report directly to the SVP Licensing Strategy & Legal Counsel and will provide administrative support to this executive, as well as providing administrative and document processing support to other lawyers in the group. More specifically, this position will be responsible for a variety of administrative duties for the SVP and Legal team including scheduling meetings, maintaining individual calendars and complex travel schedules, coordinating travel arrangements with Qualcomm’s travel agent, handling passport/visa requests, and processing expense reimbursements. The successful candidate also will assist in processing requests for license agreement drafts through Salesforce and will work with the QTL Contracts team to track and maintain legal project files and correspondence.
Minimum Qualifications:
At least 7 years’ experience in a Senior Secretarial or Executive Assistant role, preferably for a US public company and/or multinational corporation or equivalent work or educational experience involving organizing and managing multi-step projects, preparing reports, and balancing competing demands over time.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficient with MS Word & Outlook Calendar
- Familiarity with Salesforce preferred; familiarity with Excel a plus.
- Prior experience in a law firm or corporate legal department preferred
Education Requirements:
- Required: Associate Degree, Business Administration or similar (or equivalent experience)
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree, Business Administration or similar (or equivalent experience)
